Description

Spread holiday cheer! Spend time with Second Harvest Heartland at one of our Holiday Fresh Food Distributions.  When you volunteer at one of these events, you sort food, set up food stations, provide friendly service and put food directly into the hands of our hungry neighbors.  Some volunteers may also assist with client tracking.  This is a great opportunity for individuals, families and small groups to serve in a fun and energetic environment. We ask that all volunteers be 10 and older for this event.

Help us make the holidays memorable for everyone this year. Volunteers will help distribute fresh food to local neighbors. This is a great opportunity for individuals and small groups to serve in a fun and energetic environment.

Location: Mt. Olivet in the Rondo Neighborhood of St. Paul, 451 Central Ave W, St Paul, MN 55103

What to wear: This distribution takes place inside, however some volunteers may be needed to help families carry food out to their car.  Bring warm clothes as well.

Volunteer Tasks: Volunteers will participate in setting up the distribution, sort food, greet clients as they arrive, and hand the food to clients. Some volunteer may be asked to assist in minimal client tracking. Instructions and training will be provided on site.
