Our mission: Transforming the lives of accomplished high school students from low-income families by broadening their dreams and preparing them for success in college and beyond.
We pair two mentors with each student beginning sophomore year. 100% of our students will go onto a four-year college. Students will be served through mentoring, academic enrichment, and attendance to best in class summer programs. Sessions are held in downtown Minneapolis on most Saturdays during the school year from October to May.
The organization is looking for an additional member for its executive committee in the area of Senior Programming. Details on the role are as follows:.
Designs, organizes and facilitates the Junior Program mentoring sessions for a dozen of students and their volunteers. Needs to have Saturdays from 12-2 off during the school year.
Collaborates with the Co-Directors of Test Prep and Writing & Critical Thinking (W&CT) to coordinate curriculum.
Attends monthly executive committee meetings.
Works with Summer Programming team to help mentors and mentees with the summer program application process.
