Arc’s Value Village is coming up on what we call “Donation Week”, historically the busiest time of the year for receiving donations at our thrift store locations. On the last days of December, the number of donors typically increases dramatically as people make one last trip to the donation drive-thru to donate and collect a tax receipt for 2016.
Volunteers are needed December 26-31 at the donation door at our Richfield location and will help donors unload their cars and hand out tax receipts. Our biggest need will be for Saturday, December 31 but volunteers will also be needed Dec 26-30.
Volunteer shifts available December 26-31: 10am-12pm, 12-2pm, 2-4pm and 4-6pm.
A small number of volunteers will also be needed on Saturday, 12/31 at our locations in Bloomington, Brooklyn Center, New Hope and St. Paul (same shifts as above).
This is an outdoor project so volunteers will need to bundle up in your winter gear--coats, mittens, gloves, hats and boots a must! Refreshments will be provided indoors for volunteers to take breaks and warm up.
