We’re looking for a small team of 2-4 volunteers to help improve our space by assisting with light cleaning. This is a one-time group opportunity for anyone who enjoys hands-on projects and helping us maintain a welcoming space. Wilder has space for Wilder programs and for other organizations to rent for meetings, workshops, trainings, conferences, and community events. These rooms provide space for community connection and provide revenue that supports our mission.
What you’ll do: Help us clean and quality check tables and chairs that we use in our event spaces. This includes wiping down the underside of tables, using grafitti remover for table tops that need it, removing trash from tables, using the upholstery vacuum on chairs, and replacing screws on chair seats.
When: Monday, August 31 from 8am-12pm
Volunteer responsibilities & qualifications: Volunteers should be comfortable bending, reaching, and doing basic cleaning. Volunteers should be comfortable being near cleaning chemicals, such as grafitti remover, and near a vacuum that will be used. Some light lifting may be involved, such as moving chairs, though heavier lifting support will be available as needed. Open to volunteers age 18 and up.
