Do you want to make a difference for homeless cats but don't want to volunteer in the shelter?
We get it - if you come into the shelter you might want take all the kitties home. But there are lots of ways you can help without that temptation.
If you are a people person with experience as a creative storyteller, or an organized community connector, Caring for Cats could use your help. Our remote volunteer positions offer flexible scheduling, with occasional evening Zoom meetings (monthly or less).
Whether you can volunteer a few hours each month or take on a larger role, we'd love to hear from you and learn more about the skills and passion you have to offer.
Outreach Volunteers
Help us represent Caring for Cats in North Saint Paul at meetings, community events, festivals, parades, and fundraisers. Volunteers will help us spread the word about Caring for Cats and participate in event planning, staffing information tables, recruiting participants, and helping us build relationships in the community.
Development Volunteers
Help us thank the people who make our work possible. Development volunteers make donor thank-you calls, write thank-you notes, assist with mailings, and help strengthen relationships with supporters. No fundraising experience is required, just a friendly attitude and appreciation for our donors.
Social Media Content Creators
Help more cats find loving homes by creating photos, videos, stories, and social media content.
Whether you're comfortable behind a camera, writing captions, creating graphics, or managing social media platforms, your creativity can help connect cats with adopters and supporters.
