As a Classroom Assistant Volunteer, you’ll play a meaningful role in supporting adult learners in a career education setting.
This is a chance to be part of someone’s journey, offering encouragement, support, and a steady presence as they build new skills and work toward their goals.
You don’t need prior classroom experience—just a willingness to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and lead with empathy and respect.
What you’ll bring:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Confidence supporting others with basic computer tasks
- A patient, encouraging, and adaptable approach
What you’ll do:
- Assist with classroom activities alongside the instructor
- Support learners during class time, especially with computer-based work
- Help create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment
Schedule commitment: Volunteers are asked to commit to one consistent day per week, from 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM. Responsibilities may vary based on classroom needs and will be guided by the Classroom Instructor.
If you’re looking for a way to make a direct, human impact—this is a powerful place to start.
