The Food Group CVC Volunteer Day Opportunity  

As we work towards greater food justice and equity, The Food Group relies on community packing power to get food distributed in a short period of time. Food from wholesalers and local farms is repacked in our warehouse for our Fare For All affordable grocery program or made available for distribution to around 150 food shelves! As a Warehouse Volunteer, you will ensure that more of our neighbors have access to nutritious and culturally relevant food. Bulk repacking of items such as oatmeal, rice, beans, or pasta, assembling boxes for food distribution and sorting donated goods.
