Host an Exchange Student from France

Jonas is a 15-year-old boy from France who will turn 16 in April. He is very athletic: He does indoor climbing and bouldering twice a week; swims in the pool as often as possible; plays ball sports with his friends and brothers; and generally loves outdoor sports. On holidays, he enjoys long cycling trips, hiking, canoeing, camping, as well as skiing and snowboarding. Jonas is interested in natural landscapes and tries to protect nature. At home, he reads books, builds models, listens to music, and watches movies. If possible, Jonas would like to explore environmental science, cinema, or theatre during his exchange in the US. Jonas describes himself as being extroverted, humorous, adaptable, and curious. His teachers and friends describe him as being a thoughtful, well-balanced, motivated, and independent student. Jonas's native languages are French and German. He has been studying English for 5 years and Latin for 3 years. His favorite school subjects are science, history, and technology. He would like to pursue a career in a medical laboratory or as an instructor. Jonas lives with his mother and father. He has a younger and an older brother. His father is a finance manager in aeronautics, and his mother is a university teacher for history. Jonas has a fish and bees, can live in a home with pets, and has no allergies to pets. He has no dietary restrictions.
