Do you love playing the piano and bringing joy to others through music?
We're seeking a dedicated and talented volunteer pianist to join our community at Lyngblomsten.
Here's how you can make a difference:
- Play a vital role in our Wednesday Mass: Starting in late January, you'll delight our congregation with your music Wednesdays starting at 3:30 pm.
- Share your musical expertise: Choose hymns that complement the liturgy and create a meaningful worship experience. You'll also play communion music and a postlude.
- Work independently and collaboratively: You'll have the freedom to select hymns, while seamlessly coordinating with our Chaplain to ensure a harmonious flow.
What we're looking for:
- Skilled pianist: You should be comfortable playing hymns and various styles of sacred music.
- Independent spirit: You're comfortable choosing suitable hymns.
- Team player: You can work collaboratively with the Chaplain to enhance the liturgy.
- Available the first Wednesday of every month from 3:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Additional notes:
- New volunteers will complete a Department of Human Services background study with fingerprinting (required for working with vulnerable adults).
