Help write and research grants to support Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners (IOCP). The volunteer grant writer will write and submit entry level grants and letters of introduction, and will assist with research to identify and vet potential grants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and write compelling letters of introduction and entry level grant applications
- Conduct research to identify new grant opportunities that align with IOCP's mission and work
- Review grant information and determine which grants are a good match for IOCP
- Track volunteer hours monthly and report on IOCP's online volunteer system
Qualifications:
- Exceptional written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and concisely
- Ability to edit existing content to fit unique grant applications guidelines
- Comfortable using technology and ability to work in and navigate the internet, Microsoft Office and/or Google suite of products
- Strong research skills, including the ability to find and interpret grant guidelines
- High degree of organization and meticulous attention to detail to ensure all application requirements are met
