Community Emergency Service (CES) provides food and hope to our neighbors in need. One of the ways we do this is through our food locker program, which allows families to pick up groceries at a time that works best for them. Volunteers make this possible by packing the grocery bags. Your efforts make it possible for hundreds of Minneapolis households to access healthy meals with dignity and convenience.
What You’ll Do:
- Pack and label food locker orders
- Sort and organize donated food items
- Assist with restocking and light cleaning as needed
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am-11am.
Perfect for individuals, couples, families, or small groups.
Requirements:
- Able to stand and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Attention to detail - following an order list
- Friendly attitude and willingness to work as a team.
- Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Impact:
Every locker you help pack directly supports Minneapolis neighbors facing food insecurity.
