Volunteers in this role are “on call” during specific time periods during the week to answer phone calls and texts to support and assist fosters with medical questions and concerns. They respond to calls/texts from fosters, coordinate testing, treatment and pick up of meds at a medication house, keep animal records updated and contact the Operations Officer as needed for emergencies. This is a remote role with a time commitment of one day per week. Volunteers in this role must have access to a phone and be available 8am-8pm on the day of their shift.
