Keystone's Free Farmers Market - A Drive Thru Produce Distribution
Tasks: Your tasks will all be related to executing a free farmers market style event for Keystone participants. Food will be distributed via a drive-through model. As a volunteer, you will pack fruits and vegetables into bags, load bags into participants’ vehicles, assist with event logistics, and help create a welcoming environment for all guests! We expect to serve over 500 households. **There are a couple of roles that volunteers could be seated for part of their shift.**
Attire Details: Dress comfortably and take the weather into account as you prepare for the day! For food safety and your safety, please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes that cover your whole foot – not sandals or crocs. We recommend layers so you are prepared for anything! Please also bring a water bottle and sunscreen (Keystone will have extras of both available). This is a rain or shine event! We’re hoping for nice weather but please plan accordingly.
