CES (Community Emergency Service) in Minneapolis has expanded our Food Market hours into more evenings to meet the growing need for food access-especially as federal funding cuts to SNAP and other vital programs leave more families struggling to make ends meet. These new shifts allow more working individuals and families to access the support they need, and we need your help to make it possible.
As an evening Food Market volunteer, you’ll help restock shelves, sort and organize donations, assist guests with shopping, and create a welcoming environment during these critical after-work hours. Your time ensures that more neighbors-especially those who can’t make it during the day-can put food on the table.
EVENING HOURS are TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY from 4-6pm.
Shifts involve movement and some light lifting. You can self-schedule yourself once a week, once a month or whenever you have free time.
