Neighborhood House’s Adult Education Program empowers adult learners with classes in citizenship, digital skills, career readiness, and English. We help individuals gain the skills needed to advance their careers, pursue higher education, and build strong community connections. All key steps toward independence and a brighter future.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome new learners
- Guide them in selecting courses
- Assist with forms and record information if needed
- Support learners with test practice and form completion
- Introduce Neighborhood House programs and share resources
- Create and explain their class schedule
Qualifications:
- 18 or older
- Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using classroom technology (laptops, projectors, etc.)
Commitment: One shift per week for up to 6 weeks.
