Organization: Reach for Resources
Location: Hybrid (Remote + In-Person Events in the Twin Cities Area)
Hours: 150 total | 5–10 hours per week | Flexible schedule

About the Role:
As a Community Engagement Intern with Reach for Resources, you’ll help raise awareness about our programs and services by representing us at local events and building connections in the community. This role combines event participation with outreach and research tasks, offering a mix of in-person and remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent Reach for Resources at community events and facilitate interactive activities (e.g., spinning wheel or Plinko).
- Share information about our programs and services with event attendees.
- Assist with event setup and teardown.
- Pick up and return event supplies from the Reach office (mileage reimbursement available).
- Research and recommend tabling events that align with our mission.
- Identify and connect with potential networks, businesses, and organizations for sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate enjoys engaging with people and has strong oral communication skills. Must be at least 16 years old, punctual, reliable, and able to navigate to various event locations. Availability for evenings and weekends is preferred, with some daytime options available. Volunteers will wear Reach-branded gear (provided).
