Looking for volunteers who are comfortable speaking Spanish to help with the check-in process at Sabathani Community Center's food shelf and clothing closet. We serve 100-150 families per day. At least half of our clients speak Spanish.
Primary duties:
- Checking clients in using Salesforce (Prior knowledge of Salesforce useful but not required. We will show you what to do!)
- Helping clients scan a QR code to get registered
- Explaining basic procedures and rules to new clients
We are looking for people who can:
- Speak Spanish
- Provide friendly, helpful customer service to clients from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds
- Work well in a busy environment
Schedule:
We're open from 9:30-11:00 AM and 12:30-2:00 PM and are looking for people for Mondays and Wednesdays, which are typically our busiest days. You can come for both time slots or just one, whatever works best for you. Please arrive a half hour before your shift so we can show you how to our Salesforce platform works.
