WHAT: We are looking for certified pet therapy teams to visit our hospice patients and families. Bring smiles, comfort and compassion to someone's day.
WHEN: Flexible; choose what works for you and your furbaby. Typically our pet therapy teams visit patients and families 2-4x/mo; depending on availability.
WHERE: Facilities (such as nursing homes and assisted livings) and private homes throughout the Twin Cities metro area. We especially need volunteers in and around Roseville, Moundsview, Woodbury, Savage and Plymouth. We are also in need of pet therapy volunteers for our neighbors to the north!
HOW: Proof of current pet therapy certification along with our hospice volunteer training program.
