We’re looking for friendly, caring older adults (ages 55 and older) to serve in our Senior Companion and Foster Grandparent Services!
SENIOR COMPANIONS serve older adults by providing friendly in-home visits and transportation.
FOSTER GRANDPARENTS share their wisdom and experience by mentoring and tutoring children and youth in the community.
LSS and Americorps Seniors are partnering to offer both of these programs in your community, please join us to make your community a little bit stronger!
Both program volunteers receive:
• Hourly tax-free stipend
• Mileage/public transportation reimbursement
• Training and recognition
