Senior Companion Volunteers Help with routine errands or transportation and provide companionship for individuals over 55. Volunteers received a stipend, mileage reimbursement and other accolades throughout their serving.
Caregiver Respite Volunteers Provide support to family caregivers and give the caregiver a much needed break. Caregiver volunteers received a monthly allowance, mileage reimbursement and a transferable tuition grant as well as other accolades throughout their serving. This program is offered in select counties and not in the greater metro area.
Foster Grandparent Volunteers share their time and talents, to positively impact the lives of children and youth while also improving their own quality of life. Volunteers received a stipend, mileage reimbursement and other accolades throughout their serving.
Foster Grandparents serve youth in a wide variety of settings including public and private schools, Head Starts, shelters, day care centers and correctional institutions. From striving to prepare children for success in elementary school to mentoring incarcerated teenagers, Foster Grandparent volunteers make a difference in the lives of those they serve.
Neighbor 2 Neighbor Volunteers are similar to Senior Companion Volunteers but can be of any age and is a private pay program.
