We are a K-12+ nonprofit tutoring and mentoring program located right by the capitol at 441 Rice Street in St. Paul, one block south of the Capitol/Rice Street Light Rail platform. Tutoring is held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm, which includes time for the young people to eat a warm meal that we provide to them from 6:30-7pm. Once tutoring begins, young people get the chance to work on important academic and life skills until 8:30pm each night.
With COVID precautions, GNC is being extra cautious to help keep everyone safe in the building. Everyone washes hands upon arrival and we are still wearing masks at GNC. GNC also works to address the effects of COVID on young people by providing educational opportunities for them year-round through our tutoring program. We work to help them stay on-level and understand information and subjects that are relevant to their curriculum at school.
For this age group, we need help with specific upper level topics and classes, such as Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Chemistry, and more.
