General Description
Help us establish a new pollinator garden at Lebanon Hills Regional Park this September. We will be hosting two planting events on Friday, Sept. 29, and Saturday, Sept. 30 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome, whether you are a gardening pro or have never planted before. Training and all materials and tools will be provided. Invite friends and family to join you and together we will turn this garden into a pollinator paradise!
These plantings at Lebanon Hills Regional Park are part of the Turf to Pollinator Garden Project. The non-profits Wilderness in the City and Metro Blooms are working together to install six pollinator-friendly demonstration gardens in parks across the Twin Cities. We hope this will inspire park visitors to take home ideas for incorporating native plants into their outdoor spaces. You can learn more about the projects at //Metroblooms.org/turf-to-pollinator-gardens.
