Who We Are

At Dakota County, we pride ourselves in executing efficient and effective government. Our volunteer programs are instrumental in helping us accomplish that goal.

We work with various departments in the county to offer opportunities ranging from one-time events to longer term, we fit your lifestyle. We put your passions, skills, and talents to work without having you commit your whole life to us. Volunteer when you want, where you want. Choose from a number of departments including Parks, Libraries, Environmental Resources, Historical Society, Community Corrections, and Public Health.

No matter what you choose, you will have a chance to develop yourself in an engaging and fun atmosphere with like-minded people. Choose your adventure and come grow with us.
