General Description
Celebrate National Family Volunteer Day while doing good to our riverways. The mighty Mississippi River flows through the county all the way south to the Gulf of Mexico. Heading south, the river has a nasty tendency to pick up a lot of trash (through no fault of its own!) that then gets stuck on the riverbanks. Let’s grab the garbage before it flows any further down the river! This event is family – friendly and makes a great event to teach your kids about the positive impact that volunteering can have in our local and national communities.
As a special thank you from Dakota County and to celebrate National Family Volunteer Day, participants who attend will have a chance to win FREE tickets to Crayola Experience at MOA.*
*Three ticket packages (2 - 3 ticket packages, 1 - 4 ticket package) will be randomly awarded to three different families after the event. Families must register for the giveaway at the event. No exceptions allowed.
