About the 2026 IWLA National Conference
In July 2026, the Minnesota Division of the IWLA will proudly host the National Convention in Bloomington, Minnesota. More than 300 representatives from across the country will gather to celebrate conservation achievements, exchange ideas, and shape the future of environmental stewardship in America.
About the Host Committee
The Minnesota Division’s Host Committee leads the planning and coordination of this national event, supported by volunteer teams focused on registration, marketing, logistics, hospitality, sustainability, and youth engagement. Each volunteer plays a key role in creating a smooth, welcoming, and mission-centered experience for attendees.
Your Role: Data Entry Specialist
As a Data Entry Specialist, you’ll help keep the registration system organized and accurate, ensuring that every attendee receives timely information and a seamless welcome to the 2026 IWLA National Conference. Working with the Registration Team, you’ll manage attendee records, update lists, and support pre-event communications that help guests plan their travel, lodging, and participation.
Responsibilities include:

Entering and maintaining attendee information in online registration systems.

Reviewing and updating contact and payment details as needed.

Generating registration reports for event planning teams.

Supporting the distribution of confirmation and information emails.

Maintaining data confidentiality and accuracy throughout the process.
Time Commitment:

Low commitment through 2025, averaging 2–4 hours per month remotely.

Increased engagement from April to July 2026 as registration volume rises.

Optional onsite participation during the third week of July 2026 in Bloomington, Minnesota, to assist with final registration updates and check-in support.
Ideal for:
Volunteers who are detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable using computers and spreadsheets. Prior experience with event registration, databases, or Excel/Google Sheets is helpful but not required.
