About Us
The Minnesota Valley Chapter of the Izaak Walton League is a 100% volunteer-run community of conservationists, creatives, and nature lovers. We steward native acreage along the Minnesota River and run programs like the nationally recognized Green Crew youth leadership initiative, the Kouba Gallery, and the Young IKE podcast. Together, we protect nature, build community, and have fun doing it.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a friendly and welcoming Volunteer Welcome & Outreach Lead to help new volunteers feel at home from the start. If you love people, communication, and community, this role is for you!
What You’ll Do

Respond to new volunteer inquiries and welcome them warmly.

Connect volunteers with the right projects based on their interests.

Send follow-up or thank-you notes after events.

Support our mission by helping everyone feel included and valued.
What We’re Looking For

Friendly, reliable, and responsive communicator.

Comfortable using email or social media to connect.

About 2–3 hours per month, flexible and remote.
