Peace House Community (PHC) is seeking an experienced individual with knowledge of building and grounds maintenance to conduct monthly inspections of our facility and provide guidance on ongoing maintenance needs. This role will advise the Executive Director regarding maintenance needs, and help select contractors when necessary. The volunteer will offer recommendations, not do hands-on work.
PHC's building is less than 3,000 square feet, but it is 11 years old and is starting to show signs of wear. PHC is a community center serving homeless and low income adults, hosting an average of 135 members a day. Our facilities include common rooms, two bathrooms, a commercial grade kitchen, storage area, and the usual building infrastructure
