We are excited to begin registration for this year's Holiday Toy Shoppe event! The event will be taking place from 12/16 - 12/18, and we are in need of help to make the magic possible for those we serve. We are looking for volunteers to help us prepare through the event and sort in-kind donations between 12/13 - 12/15, and of course on the days of the event
Every kid deserves to enjoy happy holidays. Unfortunately, hundreds of parents in PRISM’s service area struggle to make ends meet. Putting food on the table, keeping the lights on, paying the rent, and providing proper winter clothes take priority over gifts. There just isn’t any money left for presents at the holidays.
In December of each year PRISM’s Holiday Toy Shoppe puts a little spirit into their holiday season, and makes a joyful, exciting holiday possible for 1,000+ kids! We need volunteer to help sort donations, set up the event, assist with distribution, and help clean-up our facilities after our big week.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Assisting in restocking our shoppe while participants select gifts.
- Organize our inventory of donations to help with the rotation of participant visits
- Oversee Holiday Toy Shoppe operations and provide great customer service to shoppers.
For the comfort and safety of all staff, volunteers, and participants during COVID-19, all people are required to wear masks inside our facilities at this time.
