In this premier performance of the new work titled Rumble Strips, the April Sellers Dance Collective addresses friction points between what we have been told we are, what we want to be, and how we come together. This show takes place throughout 60 acres of rolling woods and walking paths. The audience will be walking, following the performance on foot. Featuring dance, live music, and the suburban wilderness of Caponi Art Park.
Caponi Art Park is seeking event host volunteers to assist with greeting and ticket taking, wayfinding through the park, and general guest engagement. This event takes place outdoors and requires some light walking through a forested area with mild gradients in the trail. Training and instruction will be provided onsite prior to the start of the event.
