During a SHP Build Day, volunteers use raw lumber and some easy-to-use tools to build bunk beds for the children. These events are made possible by generous donations from local sponsors. Through a simple and easy-to-follow (and I dare say fun!) process, anyone can participate. No experience needed!
On September 27 and 28, SHP is having a bunk bed build in Lakeville, MN. As winter approaches, the goal is to create enough of an inventory to make it through the winter. There are multiple two-hour shifts available.

When: Friday and Saturday 9/27 & 9/28. There have multiple volunteer sessions. Follow the above link to sign up!
What to bring: Everything you'll need, including safety equipment and water, will be provided. If you'd like, you may bring your own safety equipment like glasses, gloves, ear protection, dust mask, etc.
What to wear: Work clothes, you will get dusty and could get stain on your clothes / shoes.
