Second Harvest Heartland distributes boxes of groceries each month to over 9,000 low-income seniors. Volunteers pack all 10,000+ boxes with nutritious items like cereal, juice, canned fruits, meat, and grains, on our assembly line! These groceries provide an important supplemental resource to Minnesotans struggling to attain sufficient amounts of nutritious food. Due to recent weather cancellations, we have a high need to pack boxes and to ensure seniors get the food they need.
We are currently looking for volunteers on Monday, Feb. 11 from 9:00-11:00am or 2:00-4:00 pm. Individuals or groups welcome to volunteer.
