The 3rd annual Wilder Block Party will be held on Saturday, August 11 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on the grounds of the Wilder Center (451 Lexington Parkway No.) The previous two block parties were great community successes, and we couldn’t do it without our dedicated volunteers.
We are seeking dozens of volunteers to again work one of two three-hour shifts: 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. or 1:00-4:00 p.m. This family-friendly event offers cool activities for kids and adults, local entertainment, and delicious food. Volunteers are needed to greet attendees, register volunteers, help run a variety games and activities, distribute Wilder Block Party information, and more.
