TSSG's Amazing Race!

The Spread Sunshine Gang’s 
AMAZING RACE!

This event is weather permitting!

WHAT: A road rally/scavenger hunt fundraiser! Similar to The Amazing Race, teams answer clues and complete tasks. The team with the most points in the shortest amount of time WINS! First place gets 50% of the pot for their favorite charity, second place get 30% of the pot for their favorite charity, and the remaining 20% will go to TSSG to cover event costs.

WHEN: Saturday, July 7th. A short informational meeting begins at 11:00 am, teams released in 2 min intervals around 11:15.

WHERE? The Amazing Race begins at the St. Anthony Park in NE Minneapolis, 425 Jefferson St. NE Minneapolis, MN 55413. It ends at??? (We aren’t going to tell you, you have to get there by following the clues! You will end approximately 1.5 miles from where you start.)

HOW MUCH? Suggested donation of $10 per person. However, you are free to give more if you’d like, or if you’d prefer to give less or are unable to give, that’s ok, too! We just want to see you!

WHAT DO I NEED? A licensed driver, a vehicle to fit your team, and a phone that can take photos.

MORE INFORMATION:
*Teams of 2-4 (or more, if your vehicle allows) will compete against the clock! The winning team(s) will give the pot ‘o money to a charity of their choice (or The Spread Sunshine Gang can choose a charity for you). We will establish the charity you are playing for prior to starting the game.
*Teams wearing the color yellow or TSSG gear can get extra points! One point per person wearing yellow, up to two points per vehicle.
*You can form your own team, or The Spread Sunshine Gang can place you on a team. However, there will be 10 teams maximum, so please sign up ASAP.
*There will be a celebration at the finish line if you can stay, great! If you need to leave right away, that’s ok, too! 
*Play time is approximately 2 hours from when you start. Some teams might take less time, and some teams might take more time. 
*Kids are absolutely welcome, but they might need help from the adults in your group. 
*You can expect to get in and out of your car frequently and quickly in order to complete activities.
*You will be outdoors for most of the race.
*You do not need to be in perfect physical shape to compete! However, this IS a race!
