Alliance's rooming house at 2011 Pillsbury is home to 27 extremely low income adults. Many have no family or support network other than their neighbors at the house. About 40% work low wage jobs. Others rely on social security or disability payments. A few receive other rent support.
It would be nice to brighten their holiday with a gift bag of goodies - candies, small personal hygiene items or other small trinkets.
This project could be managed by an individual or a service group. Volunteers are welcome to deliver the bags in person, hold a holiday cookie & coffee event to deliver them or rely on Alliance staff.
