Help us provide needed food to our neighbors in Minneapolis!
Here are the details:
Date: Saturday, September 7th
Location: CES - 1900 11th Ave S
Time: 10am-1pm
Duties: Sort through rescued food and divide into categories (deli, dairy, bread, sweets, produce, frozen) and place on tables prior to the distribution. Distribution will begin at 11:30 and run for one hour. During the distribution, volunteers are stationed at tables welcoming neighbors and letting them know how much of each item they may choose. Restock as necessary and a bit of clean-up at the end.
Requirements: Ability to lift 25 lbs., stand for the majority of the shift and at least 16 years of age.
