Home improvements are limited to exterior painting and minor repairs. Work may include: exterior painting, caulking/weather stripping, siding/trim repair, railings/ramps, stair/walkway, gutter repair, and landscaping renewal. The purpose of this work is to restore the character of the home, surrounding neighborhood, and to improve the home's weatherproofing and security.

NO MATTER THE SIZE OF YOUR GROUP

Hearts & Hammers relies on hundreds of dedicated volunteers each year.
They provide labor for our home improvement program. Local area businesses, professional associations and churches account for a majority of the teams that participate.
A typical Hearts & Hammers project will accommodate 10 to 50 volunteers making Program Day a team building and/or networking opportunity for all participants.
Hearts & Hammers relies on organizations to support our mission.
We’re able to help deserving homeowners thanks to the partnerships developed with local organizations that recruit volunteers, donate money and provide materials and services. These partnerships are vital to sustaining Hearts & Hammers and are the foundation of success.
