Family Promise in Anoka County formed in 2009 when a group of concerned residents and community leaders saw a need for a response to the growing problem of family homelessness. In the fall of 2010, we opened our doors to guests as the 157th affiliate of the national Family Promise movement. Since 2010, Family Promise in Anoka County has helped over 400 families in our community as they worked to achieve housing stability. Today we continue to strive to fulfill the promise made to the community and families in need when Family Promise in Anoka County was founded.
Mission: Empowering families experiencing housing insecurity to build a foundation of lasting independence.
Family Promise in Anoka County offers three core programs to assist families facing housing insecurity or homelessness: shelter, prevention, and stabilization.
