Who We Are

PWCC has been in the North Minneapolis community for nearly 100 years, starting as a settlement house for African Americans, once barred from staying in the same hotels and establishments as white people. Over the years, our mission has evolved along with the needs of the community we serve. Today, we work to create pathways to opportunity, health and wellness, restoration, and community. Through our programs, we train people for high-paying tech jobs, open doorways to success for kids of all ages, support the traumatized, and work to heal our community.

What We Do

We create pathways for individuals to discover their strengths and take control of their futures.
