Hallie Q. Brown Community Center

Who We Are

Hallie Q. Brown Community Center is an African American, nonprofit social service agency dedicated to serving the community, primarily in the Summit-University (Rondo Community) area of Saint Paul, Minnesota and the broader Twin Cities metro area.

Our wonderful volunteers are important partners in our work. Together, we are helping members of our community every day. Come join us as we make a positive difference to the lives of those around us.

We look forward to having you join us!

What We Do

Hallie serves the Rondo through our Basic Needs program, which includes our Food Shelf and Clothing Closet;  our Senior groups, the Magnificent Golden Agers and The Retired Men's Group, for people over the age of 55 to meet and engage in activities; our Partners in Prevention Clinic, a weekly health clinic open to anyone without regard to income or insurance status, as well as hosting a multitude of community groups who share space here and provide programming to our community.  Our mission is to improve the quality of life in our community by providing access to critical human services and promoting community building, which is an essential component to longevity.
