Who We Are
The mission of REACH Together is to improve lives through education, advocacy and collaboration in neighborhoods with concentrated refugee and immigrant populations that have limited English language and literacy skills.
REACH Together was founded in 2015 to provide adult English as a Second Language (ESL) classes and supporting services for refugees in the Dayton's Bluff neighborhood of St. Paul who lack transportation or access to similar services located elsewhere. The supporting services most frequently requested are help reading mail, filling out forms, making phone calls, answering questions, and solving problems the families lack the English skills to do themselves.
What We Do
REACH Together provides free adult English literacy and citizenship classes that help New Americans successfully work, live and participate in their communities. Located within half a mile from more than 150 Karen-American families, a Karen interpreter is available to answer questions, read mail, complete forms and, in general, help families become accustomed to their new lives.
