Who We Are
Established 1993
Tamarisk's Mission is to create a caring presence and a safe haven for the thoughts, feelings, and concerns of persons, and their families faced with the end stages of a terminal illness. We attend to our companions' non-medical needs, while simultaneously providing much needed respite to caregivers.
What We Do
Tamarisk volunteers provided free non medical companionship. Activities may include: Play cards or games, read aloud,write letters, prepare a lite meal, go for a walk, hand massages, medication reminders, bring to appointments or assist with errands, listen and provided friendship.
