Who We Are
Southeast Seniors is a neighborhood non-profit program coordinating services to help older adults live well at home. We serve people age 65 & older--and their caregivers--who live in Southeast Minneapolis (55414). We are a small but mighty staff comprised of an Executive Director, Service Coordinator, Outreach Nurse, Volunteer Coordinator, and Program & Communications Assistant. Our team of wonderful volunteers are who make it possible for us to fulfill our mission of Seniors at Home: Comfortable, Connected, Safe.
What We Do
Southeast Seniors has been helping older adults remain independent, healthy and safe in their Minneapolis homes for over 30 years. We connect seniors and their caregivers to local services & resources. We provide in-home nursing services, health counseling, wellness checks & advocacy. We also offer health promotion workshops & intergenerational activities. Our volunteers help in many ways, including: providing rides to medical appointments, raking lawns, shoveling snow, friendly companionship visits, household chores, sending birthday/holiday cards, making phone calls to homebound neighbors, and more.
