Metro Meals On Wheels

Meals on Wheels meets a vital need for more than 10,000 seniors and people with disabilities in the Twin Cities by providing regular and nutritious nourishment, relieving loneliness and social isolation, connecting recipients to other home-based services, and providing peace of mind to clients, caregivers and families. Last year, we delivered nearly 1.8 million meals! 

Meals on Wheels programs in the Twin Cities need your help delivering hot, nutritious meals at lunchtime, Monday through Friday.  Meals are delivered to seniors and individuals living with disabilities or illnesses.  You can volunteer on an individual basis or form a volunteer team with fellow co-workers, friends, etc.  A volunteer team consists of co-workers, and friends who share a regular Meals on Wheels delivery route during their lunch hour in teams of two once a week or once a month.  With over 31 locations in the Twin Cities there is sure to be a program near you!  We look forward to working with you or your team to make it a good experience for all of you!
