The Bakken Museum

The Bakken Museum inspires a passion for innovation by exploring the potential for science, technology, and the humanities to make the world a better place.

With a world-renowned collection of books and artifacts; multiple galleries focusing on the wonders of innovation, plant medicine, and biotechnology; and nearly three acres of exquisitely maintained gardens, The Bakken awakens a deep curiosity in people of all ages and all backgrounds. 

The Bakken Museum offers a wide variety of opportunities for the public to engage with the museum, including workshops, additional weekend programming, family and adult special events, summer camps, outreach programs, field trips, guided tours, and more. Each program is supported by both Bakken staff and volunteers.
