MINNESOTA INCARCERATED WORKERS ORGANIZING COMMITTEE

What We Do

Minnesota Incarcerated Workers Organizing Committee (MN IWOC) is a statewide union of incarcerated people, their loved ones, and outside supporters working to dismantle and transform Minnesota’s prison system. We organize to end prison slavery, improve conditions, and advocate for systemic changes that prioritize rehabilitation, justice, and community healing. Our vision supports bold reforms like the HOPE Act and the movement to end slavery in Minnesota’s prisons-because safety comes through support, not punishment.
