Who We Are

The Black Business Network (BBN) is led by a dedicated board of Black business owners and entrepreneurs who are deeply rooted in the Minnesota community. As a grassroots nonprofit, our leadership reflects the very people we serve — local professionals, creatives, and changemakers committed to building wealth, visibility, and opportunity for Black-owned businesses. Through collaboration, lived experience, and a shared vision for equity, we work to strengthen our economic future from the inside out.

What We Do

The Black Business Network (BBN) is a Minnesota-based nonprofit committed to uniting and empowering Black-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals through community support, economic development, and advocacy. We create inclusive, family-friendly spaces like the BBN Business Fair and East Side National Night Out, where hundreds gather to connect with local Black-owned vendors, enjoy youth activities, and access free resources. By offering no-cost vendor opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and elevating community voices, BBN strengthens neighborhood connections and helps drive long-term economic growth for Black communities in Minnesota.
