Who We Are

The Community Resource Center opened in March 2011. We strive to provide help, hope and healing to our neighbors in need. When someone is faced with a difficult situation or is in crisis, we feel that the church is called to be a place to find hope and strength by providing assistance with basic need, including emergency family shelter, rental assistance, food, clothing, basic household items, and more, so that we all have the opportunity to live the life that God has intended for us.

What We Do

SHELTERS

We need Volunteers for dinner shifts and overnight shifts at our shelters. Our Family Shelters are available to FAMILIES with minor children in Washington County and families with children who attend school in the Forest Lake school district #831. Ramsey County families with children going to school in the White Bear Lake district #624 and N. St. Paul/Maplewood/Oakdale district #622 are also eligible. We provide off-site shelter at two locations in Washington County with ongoing supportive case management with the goal of stable housing for the family.

CRC DAILY OPERATIONS

We need volunteers to bring our guests shopping in our clothes line and food market. Our basic need stores are open Monday through Thursday, 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Guests are able to choose the food they would like to fill their cupboards and closets.

THURSDAY NIGHT COMMUNITY MEAL

This is for everyone who loves to eat! We need volunteers to prepare the food and serve to our guests. Everyone is welcome at this event. We offer a free meal, along with indoor community dining and conversation.
