Our Vision and Mission
Sexual Violence Center’s vision is that no one impacted by sexual violence will navigate alone. To achieve our vision, we’ve made it our mission to support people impacted by sexual violence through crisis intervention, case management, outreach, education, and systems change.
Sexual violence does not discriminate. We serve individuals and their support systems, ages 12+. The Sexual Violence Center is committed to providing inclusive services.
Our free services are provided by advocates who are specially trained to be sexual assault counselors, in accordance with Minnesota State Statute 595.02. Our advocates provide confidential counseling, information, referrals Our goal is to support victim/survivors in their decisions.
Since 1985, the Sexual Violence Center has provided community-based advocacy to victims and survivors of sexual violence. Our advocacy support is available to those residing in Carver, Hennepin, and Scott counties.
What We Do
Provide free direct support services to individuals who have experienced sexual violence in Carver, Hennepin, and Scott Counties.
