What We Do
Help Us Make Every Day Extraordinary at Saint Therese!
Saint Therese is a nonprofit, Catholic senior living and care organization born out of a simple mission: do ordinary things with extraordinary love. Volunteerism is a long-held tradition at Saint Therese, shaped by our Catholic foundation and faith-based principles. Saint Therese volunteers are treasured members of our community, each bringing his or her unique values and voice to help achieve our mission.
Saint Therese offers a wide variety of meaningful volunteer opportunities such as:
- Provide companionship by visiting with residents, reading, reminiscing, playing cards or completing puzzles, listening to music, etc.
- Escort residents to and from their many activities throughout the campus
- Share your musical talents by providing entertainment, quiet background music, or assist with music therapy
- Provide pet visits with your trained therapy pet
- Help with Bingo games (Everyone loves Bingo!)
- Volunteer with the Pastoral Care team as a Eucharistic Minister or provide spiritual support
- Assist with therapeutic recreation activities
- Provide office support
- And more!
Saint Therese offers flexible scheduling, family volunteering opportunities, and all training is provided. No experience necessary - just a desire to make a difference and have fun!
We have communities in Brooklyn Park, Corcoran, Shoreview, and Woodbury, and we fulfill Pastoral Care needs in New Hope. Volunteer at the location closest to you!
