Who We Are

In 4-H, youth are hands-on in programs and activities. This learn-by-doing model teaches kids essential, transferable skills that they'll use throughout their lives, such as problem solving, decision making, communicating and responding to the needs of others. Whether youth are building rockets, refining their culinary skills, crafting an art project, rallying around a social justice cause or raising rabbits, 4-H gives them the skills they need to succeed in life.

What We Do

4-H Youth Development in Ramsey County is a hands-on learning program for youth. We offer online and in-person learning experiences for youth from kindergarten through high school. In 4-H, caring adults support youth learning and leadership. Youth may explore a wide range of interest areas, from agronomy to space exploration and creative arts to outdoor adventures.

The mission of the 4-H Youth Development program is to engage youth, in partnership with adults, in quality learning opportunities that enable them to shape and reach their full potential as active citizens in a global community.
